Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). Here we inform you about the key aspects of data processing on this website. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of doubt, the German version prevails.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, 4020 Linz, Austria. When you visit the website, the server automatically stores technical information transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, page visited, browser type and version, and operating system.

This data serves the secure and stable operation of the website and is not combined with other data. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in technically error-free operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 180 days. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the host.

3. Contact by form, email or phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally your phone number, and your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry and answer follow-up questions.

How the contact form works technically: The form data is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS) to our web server at World4You and forwarded from there solely as an email to info@3s-invest.com. It is not stored in a database. To protect against misuse (spam, overload), we store a non-reversible check value (hash) of your IP address for no more than one hour; it is then deleted automatically. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) where your enquiry is aimed at a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not pass this data on without your consent.

Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless a contractual relationship arises. In that case we retain the data in accordance with statutory retention obligations (in particular seven years under Section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO).

Online appointment booking: To arrange appointments you can use the Calendly service of Calendly LLC, Atlanta, USA, which we link to on this website. When you book an appointment, Calendly processes your name, email address, the selected appointment and any details of your enquiry on our behalf. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with Calendly; the transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023). Further information can be found in Calendly’s privacy policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies or comparable technologies (e.g. local storage). We do not use any analytics, tracking or marketing tools and do not embed any third-party content (e.g. maps, videos, fonts from external servers).

5. Fonts

The fonts used on this website, “Titillium Web” and “Caveat”, are stored locally on our web server and loaded from there. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google) is established when you visit the website.

6. Links to external websites

Our website contains links to the websites of partners and clients and to LinkedIn. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for processing on those websites; please refer to their privacy information.

7. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol and “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

8. Your rights

In principle, you have the following rights:

  • access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
